Keh Ke Bhi Na Aaye Mulaaqaat Ko...

These rare non-filmy ghazals are beyond beautiful! So much treasure that's hidden from the audience who'd appreciate and be grateful if they actually got to listen to it.

Unfortunately, no audio/video of this one available online.

(keh ke bhi na aaye mulaaqaat ko
chaand taare hase khoob kal raat ko) (2)
keh ke bhi na aaye

jab bhi patto ke tan chhu ke guzari hawaa (2)
teri aahat ka mujhko bharam saa huaa
jab bhi lehron ne saahil ke chume kadam (2)
teri paayal chunakne ka dhokhaa huaa
rang deewaangi ne dikhaaye kahin
pad gayaa thaamnaa dard ke haath ko
keh ke bhi na aaye

shaakh lipati gale se to mujhko lagaa (2)
haar baahon ka tumne pehnaayaa mujhe
jab papihe ki aayi sadaa bhi kahaan (2)
maine samjhaa ke tumne bulaayaa mujhe
teri jhuthi tasalli sitam kar gayi
main liye reh gayaa dil ki har baat ko

keh ke bhi na aaye mulaaqaat ko
chaand taare hase khoob kal raat ko
keh ke bhi na aaye

Hello! I found this gem on YouTube and was looking for the lyrics for a particular line, "Jab papihe ki aayi sada bhi kahan..". The way Rafi saab sings, I don't hear sada 'bhi', I hear 'प' instead of 'भ'. He was very particular about pronunciations so it would be great if someone clarified the lyrics.

Hi it's "Jab Papihe ki Aayi sada pee ( पिया ) kahan {जब पपीहे की आयी सदा पी कहाँ, मैंने समझा कि तुमने पुकारा मुझे}

I fell in Love with this song Gazal. When Payal word was there in the song the ghunghru’s noise came. So much feelings and the way Ragiji sang this song is unforgettable. One can keep on singing for 7 lives. Fabulous song
