If not the actual song itself, you've probably heard the beginning aalap of this song in a Lata Mangeshkar interview somewhere.
I didn't know of this song until recently but as soon as I did, I almost fell in love with the music and the slowness of it. Ashok Kumar looks almost different in that getup, and Asha Parekh as beautiful as ever. Music is quite slow and touches your heart. The singers have seemingly poured out their heart with their words. Do check it out. The video has an extra stanza than my audio track so I loved watching it as well.
Don't know what raag this is based on but I am almost certain it is based on one.
