If I were to pick my top favorite songs of Yesudas, this one would surely be in top five. I like it so much. Listening to phir chhidi raat with D reminded me of this one for some reason along with tu jo mere sur mein. This one has gotten stuck in my head since.
What a beautiful offbeat sort of song... KJ Yesudas has sung is so beautifully. And that makes me realize I don't have any of my favorite KJY songs posted on here so got to share more of those. The song of course is great, but just that my memories of it are tainted by .. believe it or not .. a Gujju guy from Modasa. He used to sing it sooo slowly. If you want your.memories to be.tainted too, try this.. give each.word.on.the.song.twice the time.
