I had heard this one a few years ago and instantly fell in love with it. Of course for Lataji's voice mainly and the way it sounded. I didn't understand a single word of it but just the feelings conveyed in the way it was sung. Today, while listening to phulale re kshana maaze, I recalled this one and googled for it only to fine the amazing video of it. It was great fun watching young Smita Patil - she looks so very beautiful. The song has captions so it made me understand the meaning of the lyrics too. Do give it a listen.

This song and emotions described in it resembles those with "katonse khinchke ye aanchal.....from the film guide.
ReplyDeleteThe female....in full swing of her blossom,is out in the world, breaking all the earthly ties...like a free bird,.
.like a snake just quitting up his old skin and having wore a fresh one....
